Over the past five years Louise and Daren Bale have lovingly nurtured and matured this destination dining pub, set close to the ancient Wyre Forest at the edge of Bewdley. Inside, shabby-chic meets comfy contemporary in a warmly welcoming environment. Reliable beers from the Marston's brewery empire wet the whistle, whilst the very accomplished menus feature Dexter beef and real ale pie; or smokey bean and spinach burger from the carte, with set menus a popular option. Produce is largely locally sourced; the pub's kitchen garden, farm shops and an artisan cheesemaker all feature on Daren's culinary radar.
