Popular village pub with much charm

Neil, Les and Sue Overton said a firm ‘no’ to music, gambling machines and TV in favour of old fashioned hospitality at the Defford Arms and it must surely contribute to the pub’s continued success. It’s in a great location too, so days out at Croome Park, the Three Counties Showground at Malvern, Cheltenham Racecourse or Pershore's plum festival could all include a welcome break here. Expect traditional home-made food such as home-made shepherd’s pie; oven-braised lamb shank, mash with red wine and rosemary gravy; cheesy fish pie; and lemon meringue pie.
