At the foot of Bredon Hill with its stunning views of the Malvern Hills, The Crown Inn is surrounded by fields, orchards and ancient paths, making it popular stopping point for Cotswold walkers. A friendly, vibrant village inn, the bar dispenses local Donnington Gold and Wye Valley Butty Bach ales, with Herefordshire-made Old Rosie keeping cider fans happy, perhaps with bar snacks of pan-fried chorizo or hand-made Scotch egg. Alongside sharing boards, enjoyable pub favourites include Meadows Farm faggots, mash, peas and onion gravy; ‘deconstructed’ chicken Kiev with chips and salad; and a pie of the day.
