Cosy island pub overlooking the Sound

Bar menu

Standing virtually alone overlooking the Sound of Eriskay and a prehistoric standing stone, this white-painted inn is the former change-house, where travellers waited for the ferry to Barra. Owned by sisters Morag MacKinnon and Margaret Campbell, it serves Hebridean real ales and specialises in local seafood and meats, as well as pasta dishes, all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients and served in a dining room with outstanding views of the sea. The beer garden is the ideal spot for dolphin watching and for admiring the beautiful sunsets. On summer Saturday nights the sound of live music fills the bar.
