An old stone inn set in a dramatically beautiful location at Cotton Stones with stunning views of the Ryburn Valley. Outside seating can accommodate 200 customers, while the interior features stone-flagged floors and real fires. The cosy bar serves several ales including a guest, and a vast selection of Belgian bottled beers, each with its individual glass. The appeal of the restaurant area revolves around the wood-burning pizza oven which is on display, the only one in the Calderdale area. Other choices might include wild venison carpaccio to start; smoked haddock, spinach and poached egg risotto to follow and finish with baked rice pudding and caramelised pineapple.
