Located on the banks of the River Wey, this comfortable, well-appointed village inn takes full advantage, with a large garden and separate patio. Fixtures on hand pump in the bar are Hogs Back TEA (Traditional English Ale) and their own Red Mist Ale, other local beers rotate. A seasonal menu might begin with home-made black pudding and pork Scotch egg; or a charcuterie sharing plate. Main courses include chicken and chorizo pie with sweet potato mash; or braised beef shin in red wine sauce. For dessert try apple and toffee strudel with locally-made ice cream.
