Appealing, modernised village pub

Bar menu
Open all year

When Alexander Aitchison and Lillie Fulford arrived at the old Queen's Head Inn in 2015, they gave it a more modern look, a shorter name and a new lease of life. Alexander's venison, beetroot, carrot and sorrel makes an interesting starter; follow with lamb with salsify, onions, mushrooms and leeks; and lastly lemon, honey and almond meringue. A reasonably priced wine list partners real ales from mostly East Anglian breweries, such as Adnams and Grain. The kitchen garden provides vegetables and herbs, used throughout the year.
