The Globe's elegant restored frontage dates from a 1901 brewery rebuild. The interior, also revamped, still retains its period look, particularly the grand wooden bar and the fireplaces. Three guest ales accompany Bass and Holden's Black Country Mild. Snacks include wraps, ciabattas, sandwiches, burgers and jackets, while among the starters are loaded potato skins with cheese and bacon; and popcorn shrimps with sweet chilli dip. Divided into grills and classics, the menu lists sirloin steak, mushroom and chips; cottage pie; chicken curry; scampi and chips; and vegetable lasagne. Belgian chocolate meringue roulade appears among the puddings.
