Pint of beer on a bar

The Lowfield Inn

At a glance

Bar menu
Open all year

In a stunning location below the west Shropshire Hills, this pub combines the atmosphere of a friendly village local with a fierce support for microbreweries dotted along the England/Wales border – Monty’s and Three Tuns beers are regularly stocked, as are a range of decent ciders. Modern British pub grub is the order of the day – wild mushroom Stroganoff; pork and leek sausages with mash; or beer battered cod and chips. They also do a ‘pie of the day’, as well as a selection of sandwiches. The eye-catching brick bar, comfy seating, slab floor, log-burner and duck pond add to the character of this village favourite.
