Beer festival
Open all year

One of the best brew pubs in Britain, The Grainstore Brewery is housed in a three-storey Victorian grain store next to Oakham railway station. William Davis and Peter Atkinson’s brewing company uses the finest quality hops and ingredients to make the beers and ciders that can be sampled in the pub’s taproom. Food is wholesome and straightforward, with the ales playing an important part in recipes for Rutland Panther chilli con carne and pork and Ten Fifty sausages. A full diary of events includes live music, the annual Summer Bank Holiday Rutland beer festival and the Spring Bank Holiday cider and sausage festival in late May. Tours of the brewery can be arranged.
