A pub since the 17th century, this comfortable inn overlooks the River Wye and is just a few miles from Hay-on-Wye itself. In the bar, grab a table and enjoy a pint of one of several local real ales, including Mayfields Glasbury Undaunted specially brewed for the pub. The tempting menu offers Thai green curry; home-made steak and ale pie; and mixed bean casserole. There's also a range of tasty pizzas and a specials board to watch out for.
