Pint of beer on a bar

Griffin Inn

By the sea in a hidden corner of west Wales

At a glance

Bar menu
Free Wi-Fi

Standing opposite the sea wall in a pretty coastal village, the Griffin offers the pleasure of roaring log fires in the winter and, in the summer, the joy of eating out on the water's edge, looking across Dale Bay. On tap in the bar you'll find Buckleys Best Bitter, The Rev. James and Evan Evans Cwrw Haf (koo-roo - it's Welsh for beer). The kitchen's sourcing policy demands that produce is both local and sustainable: for example, the Griffin now has its own fishing boat to supply fresh fish and seafood from the bay. Arrive there when they land and you can perhaps choose from the catch.
