AA Pick of the Pubs

The Trout is inevitably popular with boaters, and walkers from the Thames Path that runs along the bank opposite the pub's garden, a pleasant space clearly intended for those nursing a pint of locally brewed Abingdon Bridge, Ramsbury Bitter or Wayland Smithy, or a chilled Pinot Grigio. Maintaining the menu requires fish and seafood to arrive daily from Cornwall, game from area shoots, and fruit, herbs and vegetables from local growers.
