This family-run traditional free house dates back to the 17th century and is in an ideal spot for anyone following the popular Nidderdale Way. There are great views towards Gouthwaite Reservoir from this breezy 900-ft high hilltop village with its cobbled streets. Visitors can enjoy a good pint of local beer and food by the cosy, roaring log fire, or in the sunny pub garden. A large selection of malt whiskies is also on offer.
