A 17th-century, Grade II listed pub overlooking Fulbeck’s historic church and pretty village green, a log fire in the bar of The Hare & Hounds keeps the chills away in winter. On warmer days, a pleasant outside eating area awaits. The beer pumps in the bar announce Woodforde's Wherry and Wadworth 6X among others. A typical dinner might start with smoked salmon with pomegranate and rocket salad; and continue with loin of local venison, red wine jus, fondant potato, kale and baby carrots; and Baileys crème brûlée. Pub classics include chargrilled gammon steak with chips, fried egg, pineapple and peas.
