In the heart of Glencoe, against a backdrop of spectacular mountains, this famous Highland inn has welcomed climbers, hill-walkers, skiers, kayakers and intrepid travellers for over 300 years. Real ales (sometimes as many as 15), over 300 malt whiskies, good food and fresh coffee are served in all three bars, each with its own distinctive and lively character. Local dishes on offer include Stornoway black pudding; oak-smoked West Coast salmon; Highland venison burger; and vegetarian haggis, neeps ‘n’ tatties. As well as beer, whisky and gin tastings, the pub also holds a Hogmanay beer festival, and two others – FebFest and OctoberFest.
