Pint of beer on a bar

Before going in, take a look at the inn sign. It shows Jack O' Kent, a legendary hero of the Welsh Marches who regularly took on the devil and usually got the better of him. From the beer garden stretching 100 metres along the banks of the river, which here forms the England-Wales border, enjoy fine views of the Black Mountains. The simple menu offers traditional and not-so-traditional pub food, typified by panko-battered squid rings; duck spring rolls; Mediterranean vegetable risotto; steak and Otter pie; and chicken supreme with mushroom and vermouth sauce. In addition, there are specials and regular Oriental, Italian and tapas themed nights.
