Amidst blossoming fruit trees (in the spring, that is) this traditional, village pub has been run since 1988 by the Williams family. With two bars, one with an open fire and a screen for sporting events, dining room, extensive gardens and patio, it offers something for everybody. Home-made ciders are served alongside Herefordshire ales such as brews from Wye Valley. Prepared from locally-sourced ingredients are the sandwiches, light lunches, and dishes such as 10oz sirloin steak; pork and Tinker Belle cider burger; and baked salmon. If you have a sweet tooth, go for the Mars Bar cheesecake or salted caramel and chocolate tart.
