Located on the edge of the Black Mountains and overlooked by Offa’s Dyke, there’s plenty of character in this 300-year-old pub that's been owned by the Watkins family for three generations. You’ll find beams, antique settles and a leaded range with an open fire that burns all winter; a perfect cosy setting for enjoying a pint of Ramblers Ruin. Popular food options include a steak with pepper or Stilton sauce; crispy battered cod; gammon steak with pineapple or an egg; and vegetarian lasagne. Ask about the large choice of home-made desserts. There are a few tables outside which can be a suntrap in summer.
