Close to Cheltenham’s famous racecourse, this 16th-century pub was once owned by England cricket legend Tom Graveney. Enjoy well-kept cask ales and delicious food in the snug, the comfortable dining room or the heated patio overlooking a pretty beer garden. Menus and blackboard specials might list grilled rainbow trout with Asian vegetable broth; roast lamb chump with mustard and rosemary crust; and a spicy chickpea burger. There is a beer and sausage festival on the Spring bank holiday and a cider festival on the Summer bank holiday.
