Bar menu
Dog friendly

Built in Victorian times, this bar and restaurant was given a fresh look four years ago. It takes its regular real ales from Stroud Brewery, including their ever-popular Budding, along with premium continental lagers. Start with smoked mackerel pâté, baby leaves and toast, followed by pan-fried hake with sauce gribiche; an 8oz rib-eye steak with mixed leaf salad, and a choice of sauces; or sweet potato falafel, giant couscous, pickled cabbage, haloumi and tzatziki. On the extensive wine list are bins from France, Italy and Spain, chosen to complement the cooking’s Mediterranean flavours.
