A former coaching inn combining modern and traditional

The bar here is a quirky blend of modern and traditional, with open fires, blackboard menus, an unusual trompe l'oeil bar and real ales from north Wales; the restaurant, though very modern, retains a vaulted ceiling from its days as a ballroom. Dine here on Welsh cask ale-battered haddock with chips and mushy peas; cauliflower, spinach and chickpea curry; or sticky belly pork with bubble and squeak and red cabbage. There’s live music on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as a cocktail bar and a wine shop.
