Dating back around 100 years, this welcoming, family-run pub was a guest house for many years before becoming an inn in the 1960s. True to its name, the pub has fabulous views of the rolling Atlantic. It also has three dining areas: Driftwood Restaurant, which has patio doors that lead out onto a decking area; Surf Restaurant, with its atmospheric lighting and quirky paintings; and Beach Hut Restaurant, running along the front of the original building. Menus make excellent use of local produce, as in the signature dish of fish pie; Cornish gammon steak; or Big Bad Boy Bay View Burger – Cornish mince steak topped with red onion marmalade. Other choices include home-made pies and casseroles.
