This charming, 18th-century country pub, a former AA pub award winner, was once the storehouse of the Llangwestennin Parish and is located in a pretty rural village just a five-minute drive from the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno. It is ideally placed for anyone enjoying country walks, cycling, or a day on the beach. The Queens Head continues to attract discerning customers with its warm welcome, effortless charm and excellent service. The stylish terrace is just the place to join friends on warmer summer evenings, whilst on colder nights the relaxed atmosphere in the bar is perfect for a pre-dinner drink by the log fire; or arrive early to bag a seat in the cosy snug. Real ales come from the Great Orme and Wild Horse breweries, located in the hills nearby, and you’ll find that the lip-smacking wine list with helpful description notes has plenty of choice. The dedicated kitchen makes excellent use of local produce in varied menus.
