Country pub that's Welsh through and through

At a glance

Bar menu
Restaurant menu

David and Mavis James's more than 30 years in this pretty village pub surely make them Old Favourites; as it happens, this is also the term David uses for some of his dishes – beef and ale pie or boiled ham and chips, for example. A further look at the menu reveals chicken in garlic and mushroom sauce; slow-cooked lamb fillet in minted cider sauce; and roast pork in onion gravy with sage and onion stuffing and crackling; or choose from a selection of sandwiches, salads and steaks.
