With three shapely dormer windows projecting from its slate roof, and an unusual, but very attractive, vaulted interior, the Drovers has few neighbours. The bar's regularly changing real ales have included Northern Light from Orkney and Fair Maid from Perth, while a fine collection of Highland, Lowland, Speyside, Islay and Maritime malts waits alongside. Cullen skink and black haggis Scotch duck egg are listed on the Drovers' Favourites menu, while on the carte are Glenogil pheasant breast with confit legs; pan-fried fillet of salmon; and chestnut, parsnip and Savoy cabbage roulade.
