AA Smart tech – prize draw terms and conditions

 

 

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Please read these these terms and conditions carefully.

1. The promoter

The promoter of the prize draw is Automobile Association Insurance Services Limited (the AA). Registered office: Fanum House, Basing View, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 4EA.

2. How to enter

AA Home Insurance customers can enter the prize draw by completing the form at theaa.com/insurance/competition-cd-8056 with their first name, last name, date of birth, postcode and email.

The prize draw is open from 7 November 2019 until 23:59 on 28 November 2019, provided that the AA reserves the right to close this prize draw before that time.

3. Eligibility

  1. This prize draw is only open to UK residents with an AA Home Insurance policy at the time of the prize draw closing date.
  2. Only one entrant per policy – duplicate entries will be rejected.
  3. Employees (and their immediate family members) of AA PLC, its affiliates, our partner agencies, and companies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter.
  4. By entering the prize draw you accept these terms and conditions.
  5. Entries that are not in accordance with the terms and conditions will be rejected.

4. Selection of the winner

The winner will be selected at random from all the eligible entries received through an automated process, and will be notified by the AA before 12 December 2019.

5. The prize

  1. The prize will be supplied and delivered by John Lewis and Partners (the Supplier).
  2. The prize consists of the following items with free delivery:
     • Google Nest Hub Max hands-free smart home controller with 10" screen, Chalk
     • Samsung UE55RU7400 (2019) HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV 55" with installation
     • Ring Door View Cam with built-in Wi-Fi and camera, manufacturer part number 8SP1S9-0EU0
  3. The AA reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate the prize draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
  4. Only one prize is available.
  5. No cash equivalent is available.
  6. The prize will be delivered by 31 January 2020.
  7. If the prize is unclaimed after 30 days from the date of the first notification, the prize will be reallocated.
  8. The AA doesn't accept responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, incomplete or otherwise not received, or cannot be entered for technical or any other reason. Incomplete or illegible entries, or those not in accordance with the entry instructions and these terms and conditions, are invalid. If the AA becomes aware that the winner's entry was not in accordance with these terms and conditions, the AA may withdraw the prize and allocate it to another entrant.
  9. The prize is subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
  10. The prize is not negotiable or transferrable for any other product or service.
  11. The prize is for use by the winner only.
  12. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the prize draw or win.
  13. The decision of the AA is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

6. Limitation of liability

The AA is only liable for direct losses that could reasonably be expected to occur in entering the prize draw.

Our total liability to you is limited to £250 altogether, for one incident or a series of incidents. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for anything we can't exclude or limit by law.

The AA is not liable for the loss of: data or information; income; your time; or losses caused by third party services or goods.

7. Data protection and publicity

Personal data supplied during the course of this offer may be passed on to third party suppliers insofar as required for the fulfilment, delivery and arrangement of the prize. Your personal data will be retained in accordance with the AA privacy notice, which explains what happens to any personal data that you give the AA, or any that we may collect from or about you.

Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity, and the AA reserves the right to use the name and address of the winner in any publicity, both on paper and online.
