We have more expert Patrols trained for electric vehicles than anyone else, so whether you drive a petrol, diesel or electric car, we'll get you back on the road.

There's no extra cost for an electric vehicle, and you have unlimited callouts. Repeat callouts for the same fault within 28 days are not covered, and your callout levels may affect future renewals.

All of our Patrols are also trained in ‘Level 1 – Electric Vehicle Awareness’, and over 1/3 of our Patrols are currently trained in ‘Level 2 – Electric Vehicle Prepared’. Level 2 training has also become standard for any new joiners to our AA fleet.

  • Level 1 – EV Awareness: The Patrol has knowledge of high voltage and EV systems, and is able to work safely on the vehicle but not directly on the high voltage system.
  • Level 2 EV Prepared: The Patrol is able to isolate and reinstate the vehicles high voltage system where it might be necessary to do so for safety reasons.
2 Unlimited callouts with breakdown cover

Repeat callouts for the same fault within 28 days won't be covered. Your callout levels may affect future renewals.
