Motorists unsure whether to plump for the Ford Mondeo or the Vauxhall Insignia, the replacement for the Vauxhall Vectra, have been told that the Insignia "outperforms" its rival in every department.
Chris Russon states for East Kilbride News that the Insignia has tried to enhance its appeal further by developing a new ecoFLEX model.
And he reveals that the car offers motorists greater benefits in all areas compared to the Mondeo ECOnetic.
According to Mr Russon, the Vauxhall vehicle generates fewer CO2 emissions, while also offering faster acceleration.
He remarks that the Insignia has the potential to accelerate from still to 62 miles per hour in 8.9 seconds, while it takes the Mondeo 11.3 seconds to reach the same speed.
Vauxhall has managed to improve its eco-friendly image by carrying out developments including making the car more aerodynamic, alongside fitting the vehicle with low-rolling resistance tyres.
According to Vauxhall, buyers of the Insignia can benefit from a "harmonious, luxurious interior" thanks to features such as chrome accents and the "highest standards in ergonomics and comfort".
