Entries are still open for some of the ten classes in the first round of the Toyota Sprint Series 2008, which takes place at Waterbeach, near Cambridge on March 16th.
Classes are open to experienced, intermediate and completely novice drivers – who have to show their European driving licence on the day, and the cars have to be road-legal, with MOTs required to be shown if the car is over three years of age.
Entries are accepted for the whole series, or for individual races.
"It’s our aim to create a great championship that will help further the tuning scene in the UK," joint organisers, Barry Cross and Adrian Smith, said.
"We have brought together a professional team that will provide enthusiasts with an exciting, enjoyable, friendly and affordable sporting experience."
Other dates and venues in the series are May 4th, Barkston Heath, near Lincoln, June 14th at Teeside Autodrome, near Middlesbrough, August 17th, Woodbridge, near Ipswich ending with October 25th once again at the Teeside Autodrome, near Middlesbrough (night event).
