Renault has announced that the Modus has been given ‘best buy’ status by consumer watchdog Which?
The car, which Renault says is "cheeky, practical and stylish", was named as the best option currently on offer in the mini MPV segment.
According to the manufacturer, the model has impressed Which? magazine but also its owners in the past year.
The publication said the car is "safe, spacious and pleasant to drive", praised its choice of engines, which includes 1.2 turbo petrol and 1.5 diesel options, and highlighted its reliability.
Ben Fletcher, Modus product manager for Renault UK, said: "Modus was one of the first small cars to emerge in the supermini MPV class, so we’re delighted that its talents are being recognised by real owners and one of the most respected consumer organisations in the UK."
Authentique, Expression and Dynamique S trim levels comprise the Modus range, with a number of models in compliance with Renault’s ‘eco 2’ environmental standard for emissions and fuel economy.
