The North American division of Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has unveiled the all-new Murano sports utility vehicle (SUV).
A second-generation model, the vehicle comes with enhanced technology and a new exterior and interior.
In addition, the company commented that it has refined the car’s standard V6 engine and advanced XTronic CVT electronics.
Motorists will be able to get behind the wheel of the vehicle when it goes on sale in the US in January 2008, but drivers in Europe will have to wait until the end of the year.
The firm stated that the vehicle also offers a VQ-series 3.5-litre DOHC V6 engine with 265 hp and adaptive shift control.
"The all-new, second generation Murano has been designed as a ‘super evolution’ of the original," Nissan stated.
Nissan was originally marketed under the Datsun name, an acronym taken from company founders Den Kenjiro, Aoyama Rokuro and Takeuchi Meitaro.
