Lamborghini announces 2008 models

Automobili Lamborghini has revealed details of its plans for 2008.

The Italian manufacturer of high performance sports cars will be rolling out the Gallardo MY08 and Murcielago LP640 models in the new year, each with three-year warranties in the UK.

A host of enhancements accompany the latest incarnation of the Gallardo. Heated mirrors, an onboard computer and a USB connection under the front bonnet to allow for a CD loader have been announced, while a new beige option will be available for Spyder buyers.

For the LP640, a satellite navigation system has been added as standard, along with grey and dark blue, enhancing dealers’ colour palette.

An extra set of winter tyres will come with the model, as will an improved carbon kit which sees the carbon weave placed nearer to the bottom of the steering wheel.

The first-ever Lamborghini was the 350GTV which came onto the market in 1963.
