Holdcroft Subaru and Isuzu dealership raised close to £7,000 for Cancer Research in its support for a local motorcycle charity ride.
Nick Daily-Hunt and Adrian Killham were given a support bike by the firm for their 874-mile journey from John o’Groats to Land’s End, which they completed in 15.5 hours, stopping only six times.
Dealer principal at the Newcastle garage Dave Brennan commented that he knew he had to help as his own wife has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.
"After talking to my colleagues we decided to sponsor their motorcyle ride by providing an Isuzu Denver Max to act as a support vehicle," said the dealer.
Isuzu is a Japanese manufacturer located in Tokyo.
In 2005, it become the biggest maker of medium to heavy-sized commercial vehicles in the world and also produces engines for use in a number of global models.
