Looking every inch a ready-for-the-road British Touring Car, Honda has released pictures of its latest Civic Ti.
Five door and, as Honda describe it, ‘race-inspired’, the Civic is similar to their 1.8 SE model with additional colour-coded wheel arches housing 17” ‘Pro Race’ alloys.

There’s matt black wheels enhanced by Honda’s ‘GP’ body kit finished in Crystal Black, providing contrast to Honda’s Premium White Pearl body paint and trim. The GP kit includes front spoiler, rear spoiler, side skirt inserts and rear body skirts – in fact, the new Touring Car-inspired Honda hatch has £3,700 worth of extras.
Inside, the Civic Ti is equipped with a Pioneer Navigation Multimedia System, offering sat nav, ents and comms on a 3D graphic touch screen. The Ti’s map database covers 44 countries (perfect for touring?), multiple sensors to ensure accurate positioning, traffic message channel receiver to avoid jams and a hands free telephone system. It plays CD, DVD, iPod, iPhone and USB. There’s also leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearstick. On sale in March, Honda has announced it will be releasing just 1000 Ti’s into the wild, with just three colours: red, white and silver.
