Ford Fiesta delivers new all-round refinement

One of the latest versions of the Ford Fiesta is a "step up" visibly and dynamically from the previous generation of the range, a reviewer has noted.

Robin Roberts has indicated in the East Kilbride News that the Ford Fiesta 1.6 Titanium delivers a new "all-round refinement", while offering surprising levels of practicality.

To drive, Mr Roberts states that the vehicle is strong thanks to a "very sweet" engine unit, which starts immediately, gives good acceleration and is quiet when a motorist is cruising.

Also, he remarks that the vehicle is easy to drive due to its light clutch, while only gentle pressure is required on the footbrake to bring the Titanium to a "well controlled and rapid slowdown with fine control from speed to stop".

Mr Roberts added that many of the secondary switches have been well thought out and are positioned close to the driver, while the handling is "very good with excellent feedback through the wheel".

Jeremy Clarkson stated in a review of the 1.6-litre Titanium for the Times that the vehicle is a "mind-blowing" car that is sensible and well-priced.
