Car of the Week: Ford Fiesta

One of the nation’s best-selling cars ever, the Ford Fiesta undoubtedly has a place in motoring history. One of the true great icons of motoring, from its very first incarnation right up to the current day version, there are very few Fiesta models that fall short of Ford’s exacting standards. Now, Ford has created a car that blends reliable mechanical genius with modern 21st century interiors and gizmos. Here’s why the Ford Fiesta is our car of the week…

Competing in one of the most heated and competitive sectors of motoring, the Fiesta has undergone renovations time and time again in order to ensure that it stays at the top of its game. The 2013 facelift is one of Ford’s greatest ever, including a comprehensive revamp of the car’s exterior; especially the new grille which was done in an Aston Martin style. Often shown in bright orange in Ford’s adverts, the 2013 Fiesta offered a new lease of life for the car, with vibrant colours ushering in a new era, making a stylish supermini even more appealing for newer owners.

Spacious in both the front and the back, the Ford Fiesta has more than enough room for the small family and, being a Ford, the guaranteed build quality is an additional bonus. As part of Ford’s interior revamp, a sat-nav is available on the majority of the models, making it the ideal car for those looking to downsize.

This particular model, a 63 plate, runs off the 1.5 litre diesel engine and is a 5 door hatchback. Finished in white with a black cloth interior, this Fiesta has only ever completed just over 9,500 miles since it rolled off the production line.

Fitted with all the mod-cons, this model includes Bluetooth, iPod/MP3 connectivity, satellite navigation, climate control, privacy glass, a trip computer and a warranty until 2016. If you’re interested, then see the full listing here.
