BMW’s 3 Series coupe and convertible ranges have a new flagship model – the M Sport.
According to BMW, this specification level is "the most dynamic and sporting incarnation currently available" in the recently launched coupe and convertible ranges.
M Sport cars will be available on all engine variants and come with additional equipment as standard, including an aerodynamic body-styling package.
This kit is designed to give the vehicles a "distinct, sporting look", while a new suspension setup has been designed to provide a more focused and stable ride.
All M Sport models will have 18-inch, star-spoke alloy wheels as standard, with the additional option of a 19-inch, double-spoke light wheel.
Commenting on the success of this line, BMW said: "M Sport models are traditionally a popular choice for BMW buyers.
"On six-cylinder-engined 3 Series coupe and convertible models they account for more than three-quarters of all sales. The introduction of this latest generation of sports model is expected to maintain this ratio."
The automaker announced that it has made steps to boost its green credentials by completing a new ‘waste water free’ production process, which is set to save 30 million litres of water a year.
