A new colour for the Nissan Acenta has been announced by the manufacturer, which has named the crimson shade Emotion Red.
Models in this colour will now be called the Acenta R range, as not only does the exterior come in this delicious tone but the upholstery also includes black on red detailing.
The Acenta R costs £500 more than the usual starting price of £11,840, but the 2008 model comes with body-coloured bumpers, 16-inch alloy wheels, an mp3 socket for playing your favourite songs and electric windows in the front and rear.
It is also equipped with Bluetooth phone operation, air-conditioning complete with a glove-box cooler, storage nets and foldaway tables for extra convenience.
Nissan said the Emotion Red shade is designed “to get your heart pounding” and buyers can be sure to find out if they choose the Acenta R.
Meanwhile, related Nissan news last week saw the company unveil a concept car equipped with a range of innovative anti drink-driving gadgets.
These included built-in sensors on the gear stick which can detect the presence of alcohol in the driver’s sweat and a monitoring system which identifies when the car is veering off-course.
