This impressive 17th-century building is set in open farmland in Coverdale with views over the Pennines bordering Wensleydale. Inside are many period features including antique furnishings and a stunning oak staircase; the drawing room comes complete with oak panelling from the 1660s. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. Delicious breakfasts are served in the elegant dining room and there is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
