The Wharf House was built to replace the old lock cottage and it’s located at the very edge of the river; it has pleasant views and an outdoor terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been appointed to a high standard, and there are plenty of guest extras. Seasonal, local produce can be enjoyed both at breakfast and dinner in the delightful AA-Rosette awarded restaurant. Dogs are allowed in the ground-floor room and on the terrace, and there is 20-minute rapid car charger and a slow charger. The Wharf House is owned and run by the Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Trust – all profits go towards the promotion and restoration of the canal.
