The Wharf House was built to replace the old lock cottage and it’s located at the very edge of the river; it has pleasant views and an outdoor terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been appointed to a high standard, and there are plenty of guest extras. Seasonal, local produce can be enjoyed both at breakfast and dinner in the delightful AA Rosette awarded restaurant. Dogs are allowed in the ground-floor room and on the terrace, and there is 20-minute rapid car charger and a slow charger. The Wharf House is owned and run by the Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Trust – all profits go towards the promotion and restoration of the canal.
