Originally built in 975 AD, the Porch House is reputed to be England's oldest inn, and many of the original features can be seen today in the beautifully presented public areas. The inn has thirteen individually styled bedrooms, all equipped to a high standard, with WiFi available throughout. Guests have a choice of cosy authentic bars - with exposed stone walls and log fires - for casual dining. The award-winning restaurant is very well appointed and the unmissable breakfast features lots of local produce. The Porch House was AA Pub of the Year for England 2015-16.
