Caring hosts welcome guests to this modern, spacious and inviting house
At a glance
Bridge Hill House is a modern property designed by its owners and built using local stone on what used to be part of the extensive Strutt family estate. Some evidence of its former life remains, including the ice house and underground arched tunnels which are now listed. A warm welcome is assured, and home-made afternoon bakes and cakes are not to be missed. Award-winning breakfasts are served in the open-plan family room which has far-reaching views across Belper and beyond. Attractively presented en suite accommodation is all located on the ground floor, and rooms are decorated in soft tones with a host of thoughtful extras provided. Local guided tours by prior arrangement.
