Riverhouse

Situated on the banks of the River Ness, this small bistro-style restaurant is close to the city centre and the main shopping district. The wood-panelled interior has an intimate atmosphere, and from here you can watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen. Classic dishes are simply prepared using quality produce. Particularly impressive is a terrine of rabbit, boudin noir and pheasant served with home-made sweet chutney, followed by a main course of steamed halibut with smoked salmon on a bed of crushed potatoes, given bite from a pineapple and sweet pepper salsa.
