Artwork - in keeping with the 20s theme - is also a feature, while lounges offer deep comfort. The Edwardian Dining Room restaurant is a spacious and traditional setting, its style continuing the theme, with restful hand-painted silk wallpaper, and, most evenings, a pianist plays, while the smaller Mulberry Restaurant is the hotel's fine-dining option offering a chic, contemporary dining experience. Service is appropriately skilled and friendly, and the talented kitchen delivers exciting, well considered and well constructed modern dishes, with great emphasis placed on quality produce and the successful combinations of flavour and texture. Kick off with sweet spiced langoustines with fennel bavarois and shellfish bisque, and follow with a main course of South Devon beef with consommé of new season vegetables, broad beans and Devon asparagus. Informal dining and light lunches are also served in the refurbished bistro.
