We attend many major events during the summer – why not join us, and see some of our beautifully preserved historic vehicles?

Members who visit the AA stand enjoy a complimentary hot or cold drink – simply show your membership, AA Rewards or Members' Club card.

Devon County Show

Exeter, Devon

22–24 May

Home to the UK Snail Racing Championships and the World Fruit & Veg Championships, the Wacky Nation Show Challenges marquee is one of the more unusual attractions at this show. There will be thousands of animals at the show – the Grand Parade of Livestock on Friday is a highlight. Other attractions include a dog show, steam engines and vintage vehicles, the West Country Crafts Marquee, a sheep shearing competition, a bluebell walk, a food and drink pavilion, quad bike aerobatics and a mountain bike stunt team.

Royal Bath and West Show

Shepton Mallet, Somerset

28–31 May

This county show boasts more than 600 trade stands, fine livestock, thrilling displays, food and drink, and country produce. There are also wildlife shows, beagle and foxhound parades, horse-riding competitions, the British Cheese Awards, a family trail, a garden challenge, a canoe village, Imagineering Fair and more – plus lots of sideshows and stalls.

Royal Cornwall Show

Royal Cornwall Show

Wadebridge, Cornwall

5–7 June

Dating back to 1793, this county show offers a wealth of local produce. There's a rich array of food and drink, a flower show, music and dance, animals and birds, a fairground, and a steam fair featuring traction engines.

Catch the spectacular Bolddog Lings Motocross Display Team twisting and turning in the air, see the grand parades of magnificent prize-winning livestock, and enjoy the keenly contested showjumping events.

Three Counties Show

Malvern, Worcestershire

13–15 June

Enjoy a fun day out in the Worcestershire countryside, with magnificent animals, rural crafts and even a bit of stickmaking, or maybe some food sampling from the finest producers – washed down with a cool glass of cider. See the best of British food, farming and rural life.

RAF Waddington Show

RAF Waddington Air Show

Lincoln, Lincolnshire

5–6 July

Although it's not a county show, there are still plenty of reasons to visit the RAF's 'premier aviation spectacular'.

The show helps raise public awareness and understanding of the RAF – there'll be flypasts of classic and new aircraft, static displays, and an awe-inspiring aerobatic display by the Red Arrows.

Great Yorkshire Show

Harrogate, North Yorkshire

8–10 July

This county show is the leading agricultural event in the north. The 250-acre site is filled with animals – from exotic poultry to shire horses – country demonstrations inculding pole climbing, international show jumping, One Man and His Pig competition and the Great Yorkshire Cheese and Dairy Show. Plus there will be fashion, food, rural crafts and shopping.

Alpaca, Royal Welsh Show

21–24 July

Europe's largest agricultural show features thousands of farm animals and trade stands covering all aspects of Welsh farming and rural life, attracting over 200,000 visitors every year.

A huge variety of events is supplemented by the work of local craftsmen, and the food hall is packed with delicious local produce.

Chatsworth Country Show

Chatsworth Country Fair

Chatsworth, Derbyshire

29–31 August

Held in the park of Chatsworth House, this is one of the largest events of this type in the country – local arts and crafts, delicious local produce and military bands, parachuting displays, clay pigeon shooting, archery, sheep dog trials, and fishing competitions.

The Royal County of Berkshire Show

Newbury, Berkshire

20–21 September

A highlight in the calendar of farming and rural communities, this event's main attractions include displays and shows in the main arena, the Food Fayre marquee, the EcoVillage, a fairground, a garden show, vintage cars and tractors – plus lots of animals to admire.
