Win a historic cottage break

Escape to the past this autumn, with English Heritage

Three-night weekend stay for up to eight people

This is your chance to immerse yourself in centuries of history, with this month’s fabulous prize draw.

We’ve teamed up with English Heritage to offer one lucky winner a three-night weekend stay (Friday – Monday) at any of their holiday cottages between September and November 2014 (subject to availability).

Each one of English Heritage's 16 luxurious self-catering holiday cottages is in a unique historic setting. All have stylish, contemporary interiors and are superbly equipped.

Situated just a stone's throw from a magnificent castle, a ruined abbey or a grand country house, they’re the perfect setting for a relaxing family holiday or a romantic break.

You’ll have the exclusive opportunity to explore and enjoy the grounds and the gardens at your leisure, once the site closes and the visitors have left for the day. Enjoy the spectacular views from Henry VIII’s fortress at Pendennis or the stately ruins of Rievaulx Abbey – or wander the Battlefield of 1066 at Battle Abbey.

Plus, for the duration of your stay, you and your fellow guests will enjoy free admission to all English Heritage properties.

  • Three-night weekend cottage break
  • Choose from 16 luxurious self-catering cottages
  • Exclusive after-hours access to your chosen site’s grounds and gardens
  • Free admission to all English Heritage properties for the duration of your stay
