Incanto Restaurant
The Old Post Office,
41 High Street,
HARROW ON THE HILL,
HA1 3HT
In the shadow of the prestigious public school, Incanto is top of the form in Harrow on the Hill. The light, split-level modern interior - fashioned from the former post office - looks rather cool with its big glass skylight, cross beams and unclothed darkwood tables. The southern Italian inspired cooking gives authentic recipes a light, creative modern twist, but manages to keep flavour to the fore. Dishes arrive dressed to thrill; take a starter salad of Campanian buffalo mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes, which comes creatively partnered with rocket pesto, basil ice cream and balsamic vinegar jelly. To follow, pan-fried wild black sea bass comes with foraged sea vegetables and potato lasagnetta, while desserts eschew the ubiquitous tiramisů in favour of strawberry, passionfruit, orange and pink grapefruit terrine with lemon sorbet. Well-chosen Italian wines, friendly, informed service and a deli-café up front complete the picture.

A very well presented restaurant. The staff are keen to ensure your experience was pleasant. We we were given two extra dishes from the chef and could not fault the quality or presentation of any of our chosen dishes. The four different freshly baked breads were outstanding. We will be making this a regular from now on.

Fantastic! We wanted a good lunch to get us in the right mood prior to the FA cup final and found Incanto on this website as being the closest to Wembley Stadium. Knowing nothing else, we booked and it was amazing. Excellent food, a well thought out wine list and brilliant service. We enjoyed it so much we nearly missed kick off - our fault, not Incanto's.

Incanto is tucked away in the charming village of Harrow-on-the-Hill so I only came across the restaurant after having been invited here by a crony. A Saturday evening here could not have been better spent. The food was faultless with most dishes such as rack of baby lamb and wild blueberries being extremely fresh and seasonal. Service is exceptional - professional but friendly. I would highly recommend Incanto and plan a repeat pilgrimage across town in the not-too-distant-future.
