The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is a handsome Elizabethan property in the heart of the beautiful old market town of West Malling. There's a friendly atmosphere in this modern gastro-pub's stylish bar and two dining areas. Outside is a pretty walled garden with an area of decking overlooking 15th-century stone barns. Local seasonal ingredients are used to produce a range of menus with a strong French influence. Expect starters such as seared wood pigeon breast with butternut squash purée; tiger prawns with garlic, coconut, lime and coriander; or baked camembert; and mains like oven-roasted whole partridge with brussel sprouts gratin, games chips and juniper berry jus; confit pork belly with bubble-and-squeak; or spicy winter root vegetable tagine. There are stone-baked pizzas and toasted paninis alongside the blackboard menu which changes regularly.
