The Stratton Arms

Main Street, TURWESTON, NN13 5JX

Just like many of the other buildings in this rather straggly village, the pub is built of mellow local stone. Landlord Philip Caley offers a good range of ales - Bass, London Pride, Otter and more. His menu is full of tried and tested, home-made pub food, such as chilli con carne with rice; wholetail scampi, chips and peas; Barnsley chop and mash; and spinach ricotta cannelloni with jacket potato. Freshly baked pizzas can be taken home to eat. At the far end of its large garden flows the River Great Ouse.
